Starting in June of 2009 I accepted a position to be a member of the editorial team of the Joomla! Resource Directory. My job requires me to contact directory applicants about their listing, approve and reject listings, and work in a team setting with other individuals. - Joomla! As a member of the Joomla! documentation team I apply my extensive knowledge of the software by writing documentation pieces to help newer users gain knowledge and experience in the software. I also help to answer questions posed by members who are unable to get the software to work properly (troubleshooting). I retired from the Doc team in June of 2009 to accept a new position as a Joomla! Resource Directory Editor.
Accomplishments:
- Joomla! & Google GHOP Runner Up - GHOP 2008
In GHOP, Google Highly Open Participation Competition I participated through the Joomla! team and was able to complete five documentation tasks, as well as various coding extensions to those tasks. I was honored to be named as one of the six runner ups from the Joomla! project.
